By installing or using Vanish ("the Software") you agree to this Agreement.
Standard licence ($49): a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to
install the Software on computers you own and use it to seek removal of the personal
information of one person. Additional licence codes may be purchased and combined
to cover additional people.
Pro licence ($149/year): the same rights, for an unlimited number of people, for
as long as the subscription is current. When it lapses the Software keeps working for
people already begun, but no new person may be added.
Licence codes are enforced by the Software. Deleting a profile does not release a
person slot; re-entering the same person is always permitted.
You may use the Software:

the Software's purpose is deletion, not surveillance;
employment, tenancy, or housing. **The Software is not a consumer reporting agency
and its output is not a consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act;**
Breach of this section terminates your licence immediately.
The Software prepares requests that cite privacy statutes. **This is not legal advice
and we are not your lawyer.** Whether a given broker must comply, and whether it does,
is outside our control.
We do not guarantee that any information will be removed. Some records are public
by law and can never be deleted. Some brokers ignore requests. Removed listings
commonly reappear. What the Software guarantees is that the requests are properly
formed, sent, and tracked.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for having the right to act
on that person's behalf, for the security of the computer holding it, and for any
credentials you supply. The Software never submits web forms for you and never uploads
identity documents; anything of that kind is your own action.
The Software interacts with search engines, data-broker websites, your mail provider,
and optionally Have I Been Pwned. Their availability, terms and behaviour are outside
our control, and changes on their side may reduce what the Software can do.
The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied,
including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to
the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the
Software is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect,
incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governed by our Refund Policy: full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason.
Updates may be provided at our discretion. You may terminate at any time by deleting
the Software. We may terminate this licence if you breach section 3.
